maddie - when you get your tent, dont forget there are 2 small poles which slide into hidden sleeves on either side of the door - they make the door zipper operation very smooth by holding the canvas straight - yes you can do without them, its not end of the world if you dont put them in but it does make the tent door very nice and smooth to operate
